We slice and layer 100% Kurobuta (premium Berkshire pork) to create a soft and juicy tonkatsu. Enjoy a mille-feuille style tonkatsu bento in Kaimuki!

 

Why we use 100% Kurobuta Berkshire Pork…

Responsibly raised Berkshire pigs with no growth hormones, uniformed feed rations, humane handling, no antibiotics in the meat and a breed that hasn’t been genetically modified.

Can you taste the difference?

You’ll notice that Kurobuta is a little sweeter and very flavorful!

Why we love nama panko…

Nama panko translates to “fresh breadcrumbs” and is a premium panko that’s larger than dried panko and extra crispy. Ours comes from Japan!

What type of rice do we use?

Premium short grain Koshihikari rice which will be slightly chewy and sticky.
